Mental Skills in Action Pt. 3

Today we have one example of the impact of quality training on behaviors, and an awesome live imagery rep from an Olympic athlete.

  1. Daniel Cormier training behaviors – In a recent podcast with Joe Rogan, Daniel Cormier brings up how he is so trained to never get pinned in his wrestling career, that he does not even sleep on his back to this day. While a funny anecdote (that both men laugh about), it is also a product of years of training his body to be so structured that, at all times, he is avoiding getting into a bad position for the sport he made his life.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSMRZE8mFhs
  2. Alex Deibold imagery rep – In an interview, Olympic snowboarder Alex Deibold describes the process of a heat through the lens of imagining himself going down the track. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R2S7yP28in0
